I’m a non-practicing U.S. licensed attorney currently riding, writing, and playing with my food in Tokyo, Japan.

I bought the first bike of my adult life in January 2008, halfway through my first year of law school. What started as a way to get around town and stay sane turned into a project making cycling hats, and this site was born.

Five years, two bikes, and a few cities later, this blog has turned into a collection of stories about riding, traveling, and everything I’ve experienced on two wheels. Simply put, it’s a love story of all the worlds, cultures, places, rides, and friends I’ve met through the bike. It’s been [and continues to be] quite a ride.

If you like what you see, I’m available for freelance writing or art projects…and generally making awesome things happen. Feel free to get in touch, even if only to say hello!

Thanks for reading!
